Tip

-କୁ "to" and -ରେ "at"

Odia uses endings where English uses prepositions. -କୁ means "to/towards": ଡାହାଣକୁ, ବାମକୁ. -ରେ means "at/in": ଛକରେ, ପାଖରେ. Words like ପାଖରେ and ପଛରେ come after the noun: ବଜାର ପାଖରେ = "next to the market" (lit. market near-at).
