ମାମୁଁ ମାଆଙ୍କ ଭାଇ।
mamun maanka bhai.
Mamun is Mum's brother.
ପିଉସୀ ବାପାଙ୍କ ଭଉଣୀ।
piusi bapanka bhauni.
Piusi is Dad's sister.
ଦାଦା ବାପାଙ୍କ ସାନ ଭାଇ।
dada bapanka sana bhai.
Dada is Dad's younger brother.

Tip
Father's side or mother's side?
Odia has a different word for each side. Father's side: ଜେଜେ ବାପା, ଜେଜେ ମାଆ, ଦାଦା (father's younger brother), ବଡ଼ ବାପା (father's elder brother), ପିଉସୀ. Mother's side: ଅଜା, ଆଈ, ମାମୁଁ, ମାଉସୀ. So 'uncle' or 'grandma' alone is never enough — choose the side.
