Tip
ମୋତେ … ଦରକାର
A very common way to say 'I want' or 'I need' is ମୋତେ (to me) + thing + ଦରକାର (needed): ମୋତେ ପାଣି ଦରକାର. It works just like ମୋତେ ଭୋକ ଲାଗୁଛି. For a polite order, name the item and add ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ; ଦୟାକରି (please) is optional.
